children, as well as seminars and private lessons. We also have
specialized courses for law enforcement and military as well. Our
curriculum covers all aspects of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, which is self
defense, competition and Vale-Tudo.
All new students who join our academy will participate in our 13 week
beginners program which is comprised of our "Street Combat
Readiness" course that is made up of basic Jiu-Jitsu techniques that
are designed for street defense. This is to ensure that all new
students start learning to protect themselves right away. Once a new
student passes this course he or she is ready to participate in our
intermediate and advanced classes.

Our Muay Thai classes are growing as well and the students are learning
traditional Muay Thai and not a watered down version you see in most MMA
schools and fitness gyms. Students are taught how to use the Art of Eight
Limbs to fight effectively. For these classes students must wear Muay Thai
shorts and hand wraps in order to participate.

Due to the classes getting larger we will be adding another Muay Thai and
Vale-Tudo class. Fridays will no longer be an open class instead we will add
these two classes. The Muay Thai class will start at 5:00 pm and the
Vale-Tudo class will start at 6:00 pm. This change will take place starting this
Friday, September 3rd.

individuals that want to learn an effective way of shooting for self protection.
